Ontario Play & Cafe - a Rochester based family business - was created WITH LOVE for children 10 years and younger and their parents.
We designed a place we AND our children would love to go to, where we would feel welcome, comfortable and safe, all while having fun - all year long.
We strive to offer you the best play experience possible, so that you get the maximum fun out of it. We hope you'll agree!
We picked each piece of equipment thoughtfully, having the gradual development of children 10 years and younger in mind, including fine and gross motor development, hand-eye coordination, social interaction, role play and imagination. We offer fun, age-appropriate, high quality educational activities appealing to both boys and girls for open-ended fun.
'Exploring naturally' means to let children explore on their own and let them take the lead. In this way, they learn through play. Unstructured free play time helps children to develop their own creative ideas of play, and teaches them independence and confidence step by step. That's why we offer only non-electronic hands-on activities.
We care about moms and dads, too! We want them to enjoy the time spent in our play place as much as the kids do. Our comfortable, centrally-located seating area allows moms and dads to easily watch their kids in all the surrounding play areas, and to socialize with other parents.
We also offer free WiFi.
Healthy food matters to us! It is just as important as quality play. Parents love our healthy and tasty food choices - for both kids and adults - offered in our Ontario Cafe.
